I started photographing news when I was 14. Covering local sports for my hometown’s weekly paper, then for my high school newspaper, I shot in black-and-white, and even developed my own film in a darkroom. Over the course of 30 years, I’ve been lucky enough to photograph thousands of faces, a handful of presidents, an inauguration, countless artistic performances, sporting events, and everyday people. I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark IV.
